I chose to Interview my grandma, because she’s always questioning my music taste and I was curious to know what kind of music my grandmother was interested in at my age. Me: What role did music play in your childhood? Grandma: I was always surrounded by music as a kid. I was in the church choir/ praise dancer growing up and I was also a part of my high school band. Me: What was your favorite genre of music during your childhood? Grandma: My favorite genre of music was R&B and Gospel because I grew up around a lot of gospel music.
